Creating Your First QR Code
Welcome to iloveQR! Creating your first QR code is simple and takes just a few steps.
Step 1: Choose a QR Code Type
From your dashboard, click the Create QR Code button. You'll see a variety of QR code types to choose from:
- URL - Link to any website
- vCard - Share contact information
- WiFi - Share network credentials
- Email - Pre-compose an email
- SMS/WhatsApp - Pre-compose a message
- And many more!
Step 2: Enter Your Content
Fill in the required information for your chosen QR code type. For example, if you selected URL, enter the website address you want the QR code to link to.
Step 3: Customize the Design
Click on the Design tab to customize your QR code's appearance:
- Choose colors for the foreground and background
- Add your logo in the center
- Select from different pattern styles
- Adjust corner shapes
Step 4: Save and Download
Click Create to save your QR code. You can then download it in various formats:
- PNG - Best for digital use
- SVG - Best for print (vector format)
- PDF - Ready for professional printing
Tips for Success
- Always test your QR code before printing or sharing
- Use high contrast colors for better scannability
- Keep the QR code size appropriate for the viewing distance
- Consider using a dynamic QR code if you might need to update the content later
